LA LA LAND
Most of my time in LA was spent in Santa Monica or Venice Beach. Well, these two places are probably my only favorite ones from entire LA, plus Pasadena (not on the pictures) and mountains outside of the city. Honestly, I wasn't so thrilled about Los Angeles. It has some nice places and corners, but besides that, it's just full of cars, homeless and weird people and traffic, traffic, traffic. But I don't want to sound so negative. I liked Santa Monica. It's a totally different world. Every house is cute, everyone looks super happy, the sun felt nice and Venice Canals is just...you have to go there! Of course, I had to scout some gluten-free places. The Butcher's Daughter was perfect for that! I've visited it back in New York and I loved every single thing about this place. We had really great coffee at Maru Coffee and Two Kids Coffee. Another healthy place to eat is Sqirl. I had a really great salad there! Best part was when we drove to the mountains during the sunset hour! The sun turned all the peaks gold and red! Magic!
