At the end of Summer, my friend Kaja and I have decided to go on a little road trip before the summer ends. This time we went to explore South West England. That famous Jurassic Coast in Dorset area, which got so famous that you can even spot those places in movies. The biggest challenge for me on this trip was driving on the left side for the first time! Thank you all who prayed for me. I was really nervous in the beginning but it turned out it wasn’t that hard and after a few hours I was driving like a local. So here are a hundred of photos from my last trip to England. Enjoy!
Old Harry Rocks
You’ve probably seen or heard about this place before, at least on Instagram. No wonder, it’s a very popular filming spot. There is this one old British advert for Hovis bread, directed by Ridley Scott and you can hear Antonin Dvorak’s Symphony in the background. I’ll leave a link here, so you can see it by yourself.
One of the most beautiful shops I’ve ever visited with an extra friendly people in it. So friendly that they also invited us upstairs to see their studio where they make all the soy candles. We left this shop with the happiest mood we could have. If you ever visit this shop, make sure to cuddle their sweetest dog Paddy.
Randomly found this place just by walking around and what a happy accident it was. This shop was completely zero waste with many choices of liquid containers of organic cosmetics and friendly staff.
Weymouth is a little seaside town in Dorset, with a beautiful harbour. We had so much fun walking on those streets, listening to a street musicians playing Pretty Woman. We also found a perfect place with fish & chips and we ate it on a beach which was actually a really bad idea. It was so windy, the sand got into our food, so our fish & chips was really crunchy.
