MY ZERO WASTE HOME
Plastic-free July is a great opportunity how to learn to live without unnecessary plastic. Now it’s August but that doesn’t mean that you can’t continue doing it. You can read my article about Plastic-free July from last year here and today I'm going to show you some examples of my zero waste steps and swaps that I do at home. This is only a small part of improvements you can do to have a zero waste home but at this point, every little step counts and you don’t have to stress about that you are still doing something wrong or not properly.
coconut dish scrubber
wood dish brush
cotton bags for fruit and vegetable
glass bottle with natural liquid dish soap (I buy all the natural liquids at zero-waste store)
Humdakin knitted dishcloth from organic cotton
Dr. Bronner’s all-in-one soap (I have a lavender one, perfect for travels too, you can use it literally for everything)
Shampoo in a glass bottle
Curanatura Bamboo toothbrush
Cotton ear buds made from bamboo or recyclable cardboard
Wooden toilet brush
Liquid hand soap in a glass bottle
Toilet liquid cleaner in a glass bottle
All the brown glass bottles are from KUISHI.
