CITY GUIDE // Cambridge
A couple of weeks ago I went on a trip around England. I’ve seen so many beautiful places, shops, cafes, landscapes and I would like to share it all with you. I’ve been there for two weeks so my plan is to write several posts about different areas. First one would be about Cambridge; university city with narrow cozy streets full of students riding bikes and a beautiful architecture. Perfect for walking if it doesn’t rain. I immediately fell in love with this city’s vibe and atmosphere. It made me want to go to a college again! Weird and funny thing to happen. Here is a list of places I’ve visited. I would also like to thank Polly and her lovely blog post about Cambridge, some of the places comes from her article.
Perfect place for working or just having a banana porridge with a batch brew like me and listening to some old tunes from their radio, such as Fleetwood Mac or Beatles.
HOT NUMBERS COFFEE
This place was my highlight! Not just because greenhouses are my passion but this one was really really beautiful. What I loved the most was the combination of wooden structure and greenery of all kinds. I spent there my whole afternoon.
I would like to recommend this app which was really helpful to me as I need to leave my luggage somewhere after my airbnb check out and this app just showed me some places near by where I could leave it for a small fee. Perfect for situation like this.
more places I had on my list but didn’t have a chance to visit:
NORFOLK STREET LIBRARY, BREAD & MEAT, URBAN LARDER, BOULD BROTHERS COFFEE
