One Day in GLASGOW
Even though Glasgow is the largest city in Scotland, one day of exploring is perfectly enough if you want to have a nice chilled walk through the city, see a sufficient amount of places, coffee shops etc. I would say that Glasgow is something between London and Edinburgh. Yes, it’s a universal city, I got that when I saw students on every corner but it’s possible to also find some cute hidden streets and corners.
I couldn’t leave out Botanic Gardens with the famous Kibble Palace which was full of ferns of various sizes and you know how much I love ferns (see my tattoo on my right hand). I'm really starting to like these one day trips and exploring of undiscovered. Just wandering around neighbourhoods, with no plan at all, just walk and clear my head and take pictures.
I heard that Glasgow is also popular for its vintage and second-hand shops. Well, I discovered some and this one was really nice - GLASGOW VINTAGE CO., where I found a cashmere turtleneck sweater just for £15. HOOS gift shop is not a vintage shop but full of beautiful pieces from Nordic designers.
places from on my list but there was no time for them:
Artisan Roast, The Hidden Lane, The Steamie Coffee Roasters, Big Bear Bakery, People’s Palace
